Mac aka Corey, a Cocker-Boykin mix was for sale for $10.00 in front of a Pensacola Walmart. Luckily an Escambia County Animal Shelter foster volunteer purchased him. Mac was extremely underweight (12-13 lbs), Heartworm Positive, covered with fleas, Un-neutered and a sweet, happy, active boy. SOCKS (Save Our Cocker Spaniels) stepped up to rescue this boy. Mac now weighs about 23 lbs, is fixed, flea free and is being treated for Heartworm. A thank also goes to The Little Brown Dog, a Boykin Rescue for their help.
