50 Shades of Dachshunds

Fifty Shades of Dachshunds

Weiner, sausage, hot dog; the look of a Dachshund always makes me hungry.
One of the most recognizable shaped breeds has been declining in popularity in both America and its homeland of Germany. Originally bred for hunting, it appears Dachshunds come in 50 Shades of Coat, Colors, and Patterns…Oh My!
It seems most common tones are smooth milk chocolate, tan or creams
Wirehair in the tint of wheat, Sable and Wild Boar dot their face and feet
In Strawberry blonde or Mahogany Red, a white stripe blazes on their head
The pairing of the father and the “mutter” produces brindle dipped honey butter.
