According to the United States Dog Agility Association, Inc. (USDAA), dog agility competitions are frequently referred to as a ‘sport for all dogs.’ Dog agility is practiced as a sporting activity that displays a trainer's skill in working with a dog on an obstacle course. Dogs race against the clock to jump hurdles, scale ramps, burst through tunnels, traverse a seesaw and weave through a line of poles in an obstacle course configuration. It’s not enough that they finish timely but they are also scored for faults.

The expressive look on their faces is one of determination, and focus mixed with a genuine love to please their trainers. It has become a popular spectator sport because these dogs are so innocent in their quest to win.
